ASLI FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2024-2025: CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

 It is pleased to inform that ASLI Fellowship Program is now open for applications for the academic year 2024-2024. Faculty members of HLU are eligible for application and details of the application are as follows:

* Due dates: applications for both semesters should be submitted by 29 February 2024.

Visit dates for Academic Year 2024/2025

Due to immigration restrictions, the Fellowship, which used to last up to two months, has been shortened. With effect from 2023, the Fellowship will be for a period of thirty (30) days within a time frame to be provided by ASLI. 

For 2024-2025, the time frame is as follows and these periods fall within the NUS academic semesters.

Semester I:         1 October 2024 to 8 November 2024

Semester II:       3 March 2025 to 11 April 2025

Application procedure

All prospective ASLI fellows are requested to submit the following documents:

  • a completed application form (attached, and can also be downloaded at this link)
  • a current curriculum vitae;
  • a publication list. List your publications first and then, your unpublished papers. Please state which publications or papers are in English and if available, please send us one sample of a publication, or paper presented, in English.

 

Interested parties should send in their applications, including their Dean’s/Head of Department's recommendation to asli@nus.edu.sg before the closing date mentioned above. 

 

Applications will be submitted to the ASLI Directors for evaluation. Some of the candidates may be interviewed by phone.

Applicants will be notified about four to five weeks after the application deadline. If accepted as an ASLI Visiting Fellow, the candidate will receive a formal notification email from ASLI. 

 

Kindly note that the ASLI Secretariat reserves the rights to cancel or postpone the date of your visit if applications for your visa and/or other immigration permits are delayed or denied.
